Lauren’s Bio:
Dr. Lauren Castle is a best-selling author, keynote speaker, and the founder and CEO of the Functional Medicine Pharmacists Alliance, the first association representing pharmacists in functional medicine. FMPhA supports members practicing functional medicine across all pharmacy settings by uniting leaders in the field to provide continuing education, training, networking, and advocacy.
In addition, Dr. Lauren serves on the Board of Directors for the Psychedelic Pharmacists Association and as secretary of the board for Con Smania Transformational Retreat Center in Costa Rica.
Dr. Lauren received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in 2013 and her Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States in 2018. Lauren has also completed Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in 2018 and received her Applied Functional Medicine Certification (AFMC) from the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM) in 2022.
Lauren and her husband Seth live in Dayton, Ohio with their two cats, Olive & Pickle. In her free time, you can find her doing yoga, meditation, breath work, strength training, walking in nature, riding motorcycles, attending music festivals, and pursuing her ultimate dream of being a traveler, foodie, and a model.
